Our very own Madison Moore has been killing it with the Launch Party logistics. She created and designed the party invite and drink and food specials which are incredibly clever. All the names are an homage of Monopoly.

We also took some time to acknowledge and talk about the recent tragedy at Michigan State University. As many of you know, this program is so special because it is completely run by college students and we are guided by by RPL faculty and CMU staff. This week, our educational community was hit with a soul crushing tragedy. Just 60 miles south of CMU, Michigan State became victim to an active shooter, who took 3 lives, put 5 in the hospital fighting for their lives and thousands of others deeply impacted. The Macker family wrapped its arms around each other as we mourned for our neighbors and grieved the horrific events. It is moments of great tragedy that we realize just how connected we all are, and how much we truly care for one another.
We wanted to end the night on a high note, so we took a “Donna Diggs So You Think You Can Dance” class. This dance will eventually be displayed for you all on tournament weekend, but for now here is a behind the scenes shot!
We embraced the choreography and had a lot of laughs to go along with it. Sometimes you just have to “dance it out” and that's exactly what we did. We love our Macker family!
