Due to an unprecedented amount of registrations up until the deadline, our deadline got extended another week! We had 166 teams at the first deadline! You better believe our Macker team will have plenty to do on tournament weekend!
This week was more of talking about logistics and the possibility that some of us may get put on courts, as Court Captains, due to the high team count. A great “problem” to have! We are so excited to welcome all the Gus Macker teams to Finch Fieldhouse.
Our T.A Shane, also gifted T.O (an avid golfer and lover of the Masters Tournament) a golf marker for his belt! T.O loves his golf belts and quickly repped the new swag for the class. He was also given a mini putter from the Masters as a little memento.
You know that class ends with dance practice, but this week we got to practice outside where the actual stage will be set! Watching as the sun started to set over campus, our team was running Donna’s amazing choreography and determining the logistics and placement for tournament day!
Gus also had a great time running around in the grass and cheering us on 🙂
Can't wait for the sun to come back out for tournament weekend!
